Hello from my holistic world of therapy, keeping you updated on what is new in this ever-changing world.
So, what is new...?? Online sessions are relatively new, but the newest aspect is performing past life regression hypnosis sessions. These are very different from the hypnotherapy sessions online and in person.
DO ONLINE SESSIONS WORK AS WELL AS IN PERSON ...?
Well yes, if anything they in some ways seem better surprisingly, not that I’d stop seeing people in person, but I had my doubts before I started and my clients often ask this question, maybe they feel there will be some disconnect as we are not in the same place, but no, not at all. It feels as if I’m there with them in the same room even if they are at the other ends of the country, it makes no difference, maybe my clients in some the way is more comfortable in their own than visiting a new environment, they can sit in their most comfortable chair. Just a few things need to be considered such as making sure the device their son, whether laptop, phone, computer are either on charge or fully charged as video calls use up a lot of battery and us need to stay in contact at all times, not that anything adverse would happen, people come out of hypnosis naturally as you would from a night of sleep even though it’s not sleeping which is a common misconception, the other precaution is I need to ensure my client is in a safe secure chair and that no pets or humans will interrupt their session. I have heard of an iguana walking across the keyboard in an online session with one of my hypnosis trainers, lesson learned!
I have performed past life regression hypnosis sessions in a person before but this week I did my first couple online. It was the most powerfully profound of all the past life regression hypnosis sessions I have ever worked with, my client was shocked by the emergence of what they had experienced as a real past life experience. Even though I was not there in person with my client I’m still part of the experience, I consider myself as just a guide in the journey but I realised it’s much more than that I feel a connection to their experience even though I don’t need to know every detail of what their seeing, feeling and doing, it’s a very immersive experience even though it may not even be real it certainly feels real. I realised that the physical difference makes no difference whether it’s online or in-person so quite a revelation to me and a positive one to reassure me and the client that online sessions are just as good, but this session was the best yet in terms of real experience for my client. I thought I had had as good as it gets before, I started online sessions, but this was a whole different level. This really opens what I can do as there are no limits to who I can work with regarding location. Living by the coast in the south-east could present limitations to who I can see in person as I am surrounded by sea as well as land. So far, I have found that FaceTime is easy to use but there are other ways to do a video call. This is an exciting new way to be available to anyone anywhere in the world. As a person who doesn’t like technology, I’m a trained therapist and that’s what I do, I’ve come to appreciate what technology can provide in ways of reaching out and helping more people, or giving them a profound experience that they wouldn’t have previously had with me without the wonders of online video calling.
OUT OF EVERYTHING BAD COMES SOMETHING GOOD
This is a belief I have had since I was a teen like one door closed and a new one opens to something better. Good and bad are only real perception anyway, we also cannot understand the good without experiencing something that is not, contrast is needed to experience the difference. Lockdown forced many to review how we worked, as I was not allowed to see clients in person the only option was to work remotely online. Obviously, I could not do my physical therapy such as massage, reflexology and so on so had to think of new ways to work. I really miss my clients and they do too, we all need touch it is essential to our wellbeing. However, however becoming proficient at working online opened a new avenue I had only ever thought about previously even though knew it was the way forward in today’s world. Now I can work anywhere with clients I do not have to confined to my home which gives a wonderful sense of freedom. My client can now even have sessions away from home even on holidays so they don’t miss out it will be as if I’m visiting you at your location for a personal session as long as the connection is good.
If so let us do a free consultation online see how well we get on, a connection is more than just an internet one. Rapport is essential when using hypnosis, it is essential you feel the safety and trust needed to work within your unconscious whatever journey you take with your therapist. I will see how well you respond to hypnosis and get them set up right so that you’re secure and comfortable with the whole process of hypnosis online, there is no obligation to go ahead once you’ve had the consultation.
Now I am excited as enthusiastically want to do more online work, whether it is helping clients with hypnotherapy or regressing them back to a previous lifetime. Hypnosis using therapy, hypnotherapy is totally different to past life regression hypnosis, the latter can be performed in one session and doesn’t necessarily have a therapeutic life-changing effect, whereas hypnotherapy can take a few sessions with a definite goal to either lose unwanted weight, quit smoking, gain freedom from habits and phobias, gain knowledge and focus on tasks and remain calm in performance such as a driving test, exam or public speaking, I’ve treated so many different things over the years the list is endless with a clear objective. If you’d like to experience online therapy or regression, then now is a good time, especially if you live some distance from me or still in lockdown to some degrees out never know you might have the most profound experience.
